No Wonder Xennia Wanted to Go to Bed! New Furniture!

In the attic we found some of our furniture made just for dolls.

This white set goes right back to my own childhood, when they were painted pink.

I loved it! My family was good at planning, making, and decorating furniture, full size and doll size.

For my own children I repainted this set white with a fireweed trim, a favorite wild flower of mine.

The Little Darlings discovered this set in the garden, fresh from a wash...

Okay girls, enough talk, time for Xennia to get that nap!

Pearl and Zoey find this table and chairs set, in our family for over 50 years.

They are talking about a tea party...

Fun!...but no cupcakes, girls! We've had enough for now.

Wow!!!!!! First of all, the furniture is adorable!!! (I don't blame you, Xennia for wanting to go to bed!!!) Secondly, it's really special since it dates back to your own childhood. But what is really amazing is how it works so very well with the dolls you have right now! It's as if the furniture was made just for them!!! It's all so very, very sweet!!!!

Hi April! Yes, so thrilled to get it all down and see we what we have. This was a favorite set and already so well used. Can these dollies be called the third generation? So funny to have these LD's lie in the bed...having to "talk" and not sleep. My childhood dolls had sleep eyes. lol (Well, my Barbie didn't!)
Lovely having Lani here, sorting through HER childhood dolls.

Beautiful furniture--and photos of course! Must be so much fun to repurpose the childhood furniture for your Doll Town kids!

Hi Daphne! Yes, it is lovely to have this set back in use.
And different pieces drive different actions! The girls are all wanting to take naps and have tea parties! In two's! They are clamoring for me to get out the strawberry tea set...
Our dolls keep me almost as busy as plants do you. (What punctuation is needed for that sentence, I wonder.)
