The Dolltowners children are still heading up to the Spring Celebration!
It's a little hard to see, but the three little girls who have been greeting all who meet up at the bridge, got an extra colorful bubblegum from Dove.
They saved it for Kish, part of their ginger pigtail tribe. Kish is happy with her thoughtful friends!
She is holding it on her lap when they hear more kids coming, so Kish has to quickly turn away, so the other little kids don't feel bad if they see her with a lovely bubblegum...
No worries, kids! Two options! Easter eggs at the Dolltown Abbey Meadow! And we hear Dove has a never ending bubblegum in her magic backpack! Sweet!
Now go ahead and read the pictures, while I check on the other kids already up at the meadow....
There's these four: Kish, Oiya, Fancy Nancy, and little Phoebe.
Then the other little girls: Vera, Gabby, Whoopi, and Sasha.
Then come along the little boys: Uley and Bobby.
Then the bigger girls: Nelly, Pam, and Joy.
Then two Little Darlings that got separated from the rest of the LD crew, Maggie and Jiyoon.
And last, but not least: Vikka, who arrives to take our bridge greeters up to the meadow. Finally they get to go! They wonder of there will be any chocolate eggs left!
What are these three up to?
What's with the backpacks?
Birdy! Look how fun this is!
Bunnies and baskets! Foil covered chocolate, tins of goodies! Flowers and Iple Odelle!
And in the background, the stunning Dolltown Abbey, where the Iples and their "people" live. No wonder we don't see them very often!
For today, or until the Spring Celebrations end (sometimes their events go on for days!), the dollies will celebrate...eat, play, love!
Where's your buddies, Birdy?
So, the Iples invited the Dolltowners to a Spring Celebration!
The Dolltowners love it when the Iplehouse BJD's get involved with the Dolltown goings on. And an invitation!
How special!
The Little Darlings, who received the message, wondered who would show up...the boys? Lee? Asa herself?
It's the girls! Here's Cordelia Odelle...and Tania Aira and Violet Raven come too.
And they are gathering Spring decorations...
It's Dove!
The rest of the Little Darlings, well, most of them, have headed up to the Dolltown Abbey Meadow for a Spring Celebration.
Dove wasn't with her buddy Indira, the little girls noticed. And now she's here, with a cute blue backpack...
What has Dove brought for our little girls at the Dolltown Bridge?
This pretty Little Darling arrived last year, from Canadian doll artist, April Norton.
We asked, "Who is she going to be here here in Dolltown?". And she has transformed a couple of times, from Em, to Desiree, to Dove...
We called her Em, at first.
Because she would say, "M is for Magic"
And the name she came with began with "M".
That would do until we figured out who she was.
Here is her market photo, in the green dress she came in. I have admired doll artist, April Norton, for years. I have read articles about her in the magazine, "Dolls". And I saw lots of her work on the doll groups.
What a pretty, happy girl! And we loved her cat eyes... I loved her story, and her sweet face. And I knew I would someday make room for another Little Darling smiler.
The day came. We succumbed.
When she arrived, we popped her in one of our first Dolltown dresses, introduced her to the other "Sculpt 3's", the smiling Dianna Effner Little Darlings".
